Asheville band Black Candy  will release a self-titled CD later this year on the Should Be Flowers label.  Should Be Flowers is an independent recording label based in Asheville, North Carolina. Its roster includes local heroes Torso Takes the Silver, The Proximity Effect, Ian Rutten, and the almighty Wicket.

Black Candy recently recorded a new song titled Bhutto's Assassination which will be included on the upcoming CD.  The song was written on the day the Pakistani leader was killed.  Check out the song on the Black Candy MySpace site.

BLack Candy is currently working on a series of EPs  to be released in the next 6-18 months. On these EPs, Black Candy partners with several other bands from around the southeast.
